Stena Line was about to launch a new ferry between Sweden and Poland and wanted to give potential customers a preview of what to expect. The client also wanted to reach a new target group – younger, richer and more modern. The client came to Hyper Island.
The foundation was a campaign site but it also had an interactive part. From anywhere in the world, anyone could celebrate with Stena Line and the new ferry. The website’s visitors just blew into the computer’s microphone and real confetti was blown out in the arrival hall at Stena Line, which could be followed through a webcam – live and interactive. By using Facebook Connect it was public who celebrated and how they look.
